Tomorrow is my mother's birthday so I thought I
would share one of her pieces with you.
This is my favorite. She gave it to me one year for Christmas.
She passed away in 1995 after a very brave 3 year fight with cancer.
She loved to paint more than anything and statues and figurines were her favorite.
Happy Birthday Mom, I miss you.

to mark my mom's birthday/passing, as you know, my sisters and i visited one of her favorite places and we all bought ourselves new PJs, because she loved to give pajamas as presents.
i'm glad you are celebrating her in a special way. perhaps enjoy her favorite dessert, too.

What a special piece to have that was given to you from your Mom. I know the void in your life not having your Mom here...I too miss mine everyday and we are just so BLESSED to have had such great Mothers in our lives. Hugs to you and a special prayer :))

Oh, I gasped when I saw the title of today's post.
I still have my mother, but I dread the day I won't. I know the ache will be almost unbearable.
I know this because I lost my father a couple of years ago, after his brave but very hard battle against an aggressive esophageal cancer. I think of him every day, whereas I didn't before he got sick. Lesson learned too late.
I am so, so sorry that you have lost her, but I'm glad that you have good memories to cherish. I do, too.
How wonderful that you have these precious reminders of your mom. I'm so sorry for your loss. It must be difficult on special days like this one.

Such a sweet piece from your precious mother. I miss my momma, too. It has been since last August. I hope that your day was special and filled with wonderful memories of your momma.
