Blessings from above

Thank you girls for your sweet comments of support. I am truly blessed by all of you that stop by and although I dont always respond I dont take your comments for granted. I felt especially moved this morning by Candy's comment below. It struck me by surprise and caused my eyes to well up......about two weeks ago a  sweet lady called me to order for her store and we were just chatting away when she said she wanted to pray for me. She said almost verbatim the same thing Candy said about the aprons being sewn with prayers! It is such a blessing, these sweet little notes of encouragement that the Lord sends us through the people in our lives.I truly believe that every person has a purpose and has special gifts to be used to bless those around us. So I guess I should tell you that I started my business to be able to support causes I care about. There are so many needs out there and I want to encourage you to find something you care about and just do what you can. It can be the smallest of things and doesnt have to be monetary. A staggering number of people dont know how to read and you could give of your time. And if you ask me, time is a bigger investment! I often ask the Lord why he only put 24 hrs in a day! Another idea is walk dogs at the local shelter. You get the idea. If we make a collective effort we can make a big difference! Have a blessed day girls.
Hugs~

Pinch Me

I've got the most exciting news that I've been sitting on for a month. I did'nt want to say anything just in case it did'nt happen. I have a new account that is exporting my line to Dubai! I will be sending off the boxes tomorrow. I can hardly believe that this is happening to little 'ol me. And if that was'nt enough I just found out another 2 orders were sent to Japan. I am extremely grateful to my showroom and reps for their hard work at promoting my line. I learned how to sew when I was 10 years old  from my babysitter. I will never forget her and the "seeds she sewed" into my life. And thanks to my BFF on the east coast, Elyse of Cottage who is the only one who knew. The day I got the news my family was out of town and out of cell range. Elyse was home with her son who was very sick and had to go to the ER. But the graceful friend that she is was still there to share in my excitement.
