Boutique Time

Today the Stock & Stuffer Boutique opens and runs through saturday. Its a great show with just about everything you can imagine for sale: Home decor, holiday items, candles, candies, scrapbooking, clothing.
I just love participating in it, all of the vendors are just the nicest people. Heres my booth and few things some of my girlfriends made.

Shabby pink tea for one and mini teapot & cup.

I love white dishes and teaware. I have several pieces that I blend in with my mix of pinks, greens and lavender. Oh maybe I shouldn't sell this set?!

And of course a proper pumpkin shaped pot! I especially like the saucers' leafy design and how it sits on a
leaf. Don't you think the pot should be filled with cinnamon tea and served with warm scones. yum.

A group of shabby chic ghosts.....not too scary, just adorable.

A bewitching black cat made by my friend Arlene.

I love the face on this frightened little doll!

I made that pillow! I love vitage images, don't you?

A not so scary scarecrow with her pumpkin. If she doesn't sell she will be on my mantle!

A bit of whimsy and an old witch.

This fabulous smiling jack o'lantern was made by my dear friend Georgia!
If you are in the southern California area, stop by and see us.

Fall Wishes

I love the Fall and the changes it brings; cooler days, deep orange leaves and pumpkin pie. But it is also a hard time for many as September had such a tragedy. Yesterday I watched several programs about 9/11 and it made me stop to think about all that I have to be grateful for.
So I'm sending a a Fall wish to you.......

I wish you the joy of knowing God's Grace, and I wish you Grace to make it through those difficult days....

I wish you Harmony: that you will stop to hear the birds sing, and you will laugh....

I wish you Blessings so great you cannot hold them all:
the Blessings of family, friends and of a joyful heart.....

I wish you Plenty: that you may never go without those precious things that make life worth living.
Wishing all of you a blessed Fall season.

Say What

For those of you that know me, you know I talk A LOT! Well.....I've got nothing! Last spring I was so very inspired by  you and the witty things you say that I decided I would start blogging too. After all, I'm a girl that can talk enough for a room full of women and I had all kinds of stuff to say. So I set up my blog and a dreadful thing happened. Mr. Perimenopause came by.  My Dr. put me on something to help with those pesky symptoms and well quite frankly I am now certifiably nuts, crazy, looney not quite my adorable creative  fun loving self because of it. So I decided enough of that. I would rather have a few hot flashes and sit in front of the fan. Since so many women struggle with Mr.P., I am interested to hear from you. Yes ladies please do share your anecdotes of navigating through yet another mystery of your life. Since I lost my mother so many years ago I just don't know what else to expect. I am going to go have a good cry, sit in front of the fan, eat M&M's take a nap!
p.s.thank you to all of you that entered the apron giveaway. I am slowly making rounds to visit all of you.
p.s.s. Please laugh along with me over this. Its not a terrible dramatic thing.....at least not right now. Tomorrow I may be dramatic,we'll see!
