Blessings from above

Thank you girls for your sweet comments of support. I am truly blessed by all of you that stop by and although I dont always respond I dont take your comments for granted. I felt especially moved this morning by Candy's comment below. It struck me by surprise and caused my eyes to well up......about two weeks ago a  sweet lady called me to order for her store and we were just chatting away when she said she wanted to pray for me. She said almost verbatim the same thing Candy said about the aprons being sewn with prayers! It is such a blessing, these sweet little notes of encouragement that the Lord sends us through the people in our lives.I truly believe that every person has a purpose and has special gifts to be used to bless those around us. So I guess I should tell you that I started my business to be able to support causes I care about. There are so many needs out there and I want to encourage you to find something you care about and just do what you can. It can be the smallest of things and doesnt have to be monetary. A staggering number of people dont know how to read and you could give of your time. And if you ask me, time is a bigger investment! I often ask the Lord why he only put 24 hrs in a day! Another idea is walk dogs at the local shelter. You get the idea. If we make a collective effort we can make a big difference! Have a blessed day girls.
Hugs~

We are supposed to be a blessing to others, and there are so many ways to do so...too often, Christians limit their "service" to their church, but there's a world of needy people...they need "things", and they need the Lord...how will they be blessed if we hide our light and let our salt sit dormant in the jars of our homes? This is inspiring...thanks so much for posting it...and I love your aprons!

God bless,
Mary

Thank you for this wonderful post. I truly believe that the more we help others the happier we are. Just as long as we don't go so far as to lose ourselves in the process. Best wishes to you with your new business endeavor. You must be floating on a cloud!! : )
