What Ails Ya, Baby?

I have a little confession.....I had the housewife meltdown!
Mmm Hmmm!

No, you did'nt? Yes, I did!

Remember when I said I had a few lemons to deal with lately? Well they were particularly sour. It should'nt have bothered me, really not a life or death situation, no. But when this, that and the other came along I found myself crumble like an over baked cookie. I was flying high, 'ya know that sweet spot that comes along ever so rarely where everything is so perfect(for the record, my life has been full of tragedy so I relish those rare sweet spot moments)(maybe more on that in another post) I had just told a confidante that I felt so on top of the world and so focused and clear on my objectives and then without warning... WHAM! And I find myself staring at the ceiling and a whole pan of brownies has not cured me. Perhaps I will divulge the details at some point but at least for now it makes a good setup to my point. Did you notice the "Remedies" picture up there? I like that little collection of bottles so much I put it on my sidebar, then I realised how perfect it is for this post.

Remedy: to cure or relieve; to put right or rectify.

Ya know what cures an ailment? Friends! Yep. My sweet friend Candy sent me this lovely little email and I just have to share it with you so you can pass this on to someone you love.

 Loving Lord,
The women reading this are resourceful, loving and strong. Please help them live their lives to the fullest. Please promote them and cause them to excel beyond their expectations. Help them shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect them at all times, lift them up when they need you the most, and let them know when they walk with you, they will always be safe.

It is with your grace and love that we pray...Amen

Who do you know that needs to hear that?

So my lovely blogland friends, I pray this for each of you.

Hugs,

Everything is going to be alright, Sharon! Through the fire and the flood, He Is There! But there will be more flying high times in the future. I'll go flying with you-K? ♥

oh little popcorn, i'm so sorry to hear that you've been having a rough time, rougher than i thought.

take a deep breath and remember the strong, smart and resourceful person that you are. now that's you've gotten the brownies out of the way, it's time for the strong stuff: POPCORN! so let 'er pop! (best served with cold a&w rootbeer)

rooting for you!

It's a funny thing. This blogging friends thing. We don't know each other, but you know I've been here often to visit you and I know you've visited me at my blog. We know we have one or two things in common. Maybe that's a lot or maybe it's only a little.
Yet I can sympathize with you and I know you can with me.
So, I'm so sorry that you are going all topsy-turvy. I want to sit and listen, pat your hand, hand you soft tissues, make you a cup of tea, pray with you, read from the Psalms, massage your shoulders, and do your grocery shopping. I bet that would help. Maybe it will help an eensy bit just knowing that I want to do that for you.
From this crazy distance, what I can do is pray for you, and write encouraging comments. So, keep posting, and I'll try to keep serving up this remedy as long as you need it.
Love in Christ,
WendyBee

So sorry to hear that life is giving you lemons.
On a brighter note your blog has never looked better. I just changed my background the other day but it had been one of my favorites since Christmas. Thought it was time for a change!
